The End of the Beginning

I thought about writing a super long post... but really the only person reading it would be me. So here is what I want to remember and what I think would actually be interesting:

Today I said my goodbyes to my wonderful 1st graders. I learned so many things during these 8 weeks. I learned that the phrase "tenders" can be slang for the male anatomy. I learned that the king cobra has enough venom to kill an elephant. Most importantly I learned, we are ALWAYS learning and that you can learn from just about anything... about anything!

Five and six year olds are full of so much energy and enthusiasm. It was always hard waking up early but once I was chatting with the kids I was ready to take on the world. I will surely miss all of their faces and watching them grow. I had such wonderful parents in the classroom who took an interest in where I was going next and how my experience was going. I loved every second of my placement.

Also, I was truly blessed to work with an amazing teacher who truly reminded me of my sister. She gave me constructive criticism and was honest with me, something I will always be grateful for. Her patience for students and knowledge of the field of teaching was inspiring and truly motivating. It will be hard to move forward from this placement to my next!

The next few days are going to be insane with trying to see all my friends and family before I leave on Monday! I plan on taking plenty of photos to post so I have those memories forever. Be looking for more posts and God bless!

As Always,

Bee
